Integrity Has One Face Not Two

When I think of people I admire most I find that I do so mainly because they have an unshakable allegiance to truth and to a fundamental integrity. They recognize and acknowledge that there is often an obvious "right thing to do." We can argue that everything is relative but I think that would just be mental gymnastics to avoid admitting it can be done. People who resist admitting there's a right thing to do are usually the type of people that regularly choose the obvious "wrong thing to do." People like politicians.

People that don't have an allegiance to truth rely on complicating everything in order to obliterate any clear understanding of it. As one of my editors often says, the great thing about truth is it has no internal contradictions. It's self-evident. Lies are loaded with internal contradictions so people who use them must create a convoluted complexity and/or misdirection and denial to frustrate anyone that looks too closely. That's why most big lies endure for so long. It's incredibly difficult to untangle the mucked up web of lies and deceit. For my part I enjoy the simplicity of truth. Luckily there are a many moments in life when there is a "right thing to do" and it's obvious to anyone who has an allegiance to truth.

One thing we can probably all agree on is that integrity is an important quality for someone to have, especially when they are representing our interests within the Federal government. Of course integrity in our state government representatives is important as well, but the Federal representatives are making decisions that affect everyone in the entire country. At least if the state reps muck things up it doesn't affect the entire country. This is the reason why our Constitution was written the way it was, to severely limit it's ability to cause systemic damage to the country. Integrity on all levels of government is important, but for this discussion the Feds are the main focus.

One thing has become painfully obvious to me. The only thing that explains why things are the way they are is because the people making the decisions want things to be that way. Once you accept this notion, the next logical question is what kind of a person would want things to be the way they are? They would have to have a severe lack of integrity and a severe lack of compassion and empathy as well. Wouldn't you think?

I've done a bit of research along these lines and discovered that this is a description of a psychopathic personality. A psychopath isn't what I thought it was. I pictured a Charlie Manson type character. What I learned was they are in fact quite normal looking and often very charming people that are quite socially adept. What they are severely lacking in are important qualities like a moral compass and a conscience.

I was amazed to discover it's estimated that psychopathic personalities make up between two to five percent of our population. At just two percent that would be over six million people in our country that have no moral compass or conscience whatsoever! At five percent that would be over fifteen million people! That's a lot of people!

Most people I know believe that deep down everyone is good. Everyone wants to do the right thing. Well, that's not true if you accept that some people are psychopathic. There are several articles listed in the "Important News Stories" section below (highlighted with a little red devil icon) that will give you insight into what these people are like. In short, they are not wired like normal people are. They do not function like you and I do. They have no guilt, no remorse when they do harm to others. In fact, they take great pleasure in the fact that most people are utterly oblivious to their true character. They know that most of us simply don't want to believe people like this exist and see us as pathetic and stupid because of it.

The best way to understand these people is to image the way a cat torments a mouse. A cat will take great pleasure in tormenting and torturing it's prey. A cat has no moral value system at work. It's just the nature of a cat. Psychopaths are human predatory animals and we would be wise to openly acknowledging this fact. They literally see us no differently than a cat sees a mouse.

One of the most diabolical things about psychopaths is in their ability to create a climate in which ordinary people have to adopt psychopathic behavior in order to survive in the working environment psychopaths create. Combine this with the psychopath's ability to easily manipulate unsuspecting regular folk you have the perfect mixture to create exactly the conditions we find ourselves living in today. I wouldn't say every member of Congress is a psychopath but I'd be willing to wager those in the highest positions of power are. Probably many of their immediate underlings are as well. Together this group has effectively created a distorted working environment that has endured for decades. Virtually everyone in the Washington environment is forced to adopt this psychopathic behavior just to survive and hang onto your job.

When I look at the behavior of the most powerful leaders in our government it's clear to me that they have no conscience about what they have done or are doing to our country and to the people they are supposed to represent. They routinely grandstand so they can pretend they do, but they never do a darn thing to stop the raping and pillaging. It's painfully obvious to me that they don't care. There is wholesale slaughter going on with absolutely no indication that many of them feel anything. Their actions are impacting and destroying real lives. In fact, they are enjoying it. The louder we voice our anger and suffering the more oppressive legislation they throw on the table. They can't seem to get it on the table fast enough.

Apart from a very few members of Congress, the bulk of them seem to have totally sold themselves to the dark side. They seem to me to be enjoying the process of destroying our country, wiping out the middle class, wiping out our economy and wiping out our ability to be self-sufficient. They can't seem to wait until we are all utterly desperate, destitute and totally dependent on the government for everything.

If you're not aware, one of the most shocking and disturbing examples of what they are doing that establishes the fact that we are ruled by psychopaths is what they are putting into place regarding the flu pandemic agenda. There are quite a few stories this week that expose exactly what these lunatics are about to unleash on us. Be sure and listen to the radio broadcast by Dr. Carley and her guests on what is really going on with the pandemic hysteria. Also be sure to watch the old 60 minutes segment I found on what happened as a result of the 1976 Swine Flu scare. You cannot trust the people in control of our government my friends.

I think it's time we all face the fact that we have psychopathic lunatics running everything. We have to come to grips with the notion that perhaps we find ourselves in the boat we're in, because the people making all the important decisions want things to be exactly the way they are. They just LIE about their true intentions. They look at us with the face we want to see and the mouth that spews all the words we want to hear so we can continue deluding ourselves into believing that deep down they really are just like us and they really are trying to do the right thing.

We have to become much more sophisticated and recognize that a great many of our members of Congress are two-faced psychopathic lunatics that have no moral compass and no conscience whatsoever. If we can acknowledge this, there may be some hope to turn things around because it will mean we all have to grow up and start acting like informed adults with the strength of character and integrity needed to discern the obvious truth of things so we can all do the "right thing." The obvious right thing to do is to get rid of these lunatics! First step is in doing this is to have the courage to face the simple obvious truth.

When it comes to politics and elections the average American brain becomes a sieve for important information and a veritable electro-magnet for the inane.

Have you noticed when the election circus comes to town it's as if the brain inside the skull of most Americans transforms into an extremely sieve-like contraption that is utterly incapable of retaining any important information for any significant amount of time. Once the political circus marches down main street most eligible voters transform into children that dash from one side show to the next, gawking at each and every freakish drama thrown in front of them.

We all have a major choice to make concerning the next election circus that will soon be roaring into town. We have to realize that if we don't do something different, relate differently to what's going to be thrown at us by the political side show freaks, we are going to end up doing the exact same thing we always do and nothing is going to change for the better. They will con us all into playing they sick twisted game yet again and the exact same criminal psychopaths are going to get re-elected and they will continue to destroy our lives and our children's future.

Rather than being swept away by every fake drama we know will be thrown at us, we can choose to see it all for what it really is . . . a Freak Show. It's a performance, a con job. None of it is real. They make us all believe this battle between political parties is the whole point of our elections. They turn our one Constitutional means to effect change in our government into nothing more than some mindless sporting event. It all becomes about winning. It's always and only about winning. We have to win at all costs!

Don't you think it's time to ask "WIN WHAT?" What the hell do we win? All some of us get is to feel a few fleeting moments that "our team won." That's it. The other half doesn't even get to feel that fleeting moment. We just get to feel more screwed than we were before the political circus rolled into town. Shortly after the new Congress is in session even the "winners" realize they just fell for the con again and NOTHING has changed for the better. It never changes for the better. When was the last time things changed for the better? What's it going to take for that to sink into everyone's think friggin' skulls?

The Bottom Line
We cannot create the kind of world we all want as long as we keep being played for fools and allow psychopaths to make all the major decisions.
We have to stop handing ourselves over to the mercy of Barnum and Bailey's Political Circus. We have to stop allowing our minds to become sieves that drain every drop of common sense out of us. We have to stop throwing away the most important opportunity we have to change things in our government and stop playing along with "The Big Show." Elections are our ONE means to effect meaningful change in our government and we allow it to be turned into nothing more than freakish entertainment.

We have to plug up the holes in our noggins with Superglue and refuse to allow what we know from spilling out. We have to deny room in our heads for all those happy little mindless freak show dramas and simulated battles between the left and right. We would be far better off just refusing to visit the circus at all for a change. Let them set up their tents and all the trappings and just ignore it altogether. Recognize it for what it is. It's an elaborate spectacle designed for one purpose and one purpose only. To ensure the psychopaths remain the ones making all the decisions that will make our lives even worse for another two years.

We have to realize the bulk of politicians paraded before us during the election circus are two-faced oddities and their primary task is to play us all for fools. Plug the holes in thy head brothers and sisters. Plug the holes in thy head! Hold onto the truth of things. Don't go to the circus this time round. Instead use your time productively and help us teach voters how to use our system to rid our government of all the psychopaths so we can start with as clean a slate as possible.
